Inspiration for "Billy the Boiler"

A Guinness World Record Holder - The Legendary 150 Case

"Billy the Boiler" is inspired by the Legendary 150 Case, recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest steam-powered traction engine ever built. His fearless partner, the Iron Warrior, draws inspiration from Kory Anderson, the modern-day pioneer and master craftsman who brought this mechanical giant back to life. Originally, only nine of these powerful engines were built in 1904, but none survived the test of time—until Anderson recreated one from the ground up in 2018. The incredible build has since captured imaginations around the world, racking up over 50 million views on YouTube!

100% Made-in-USA

Over 250+ unique castings were produced for the 150 Case at Dakota Foundry in Webster, SD, home of "Foundry Fundamental" training sessions for students enrolled in the Iron Warrior Academy!
